Application to Arcani is a simple affair. If you are a suitable candidate you merely post an application and then game with us for a few weeks while we get to know you. At the end of the trial period (or sometimes even sooner!) we notify you of whether or not you were accepted.

First and foremost, a successful candidate will have a great attitude and display a reasonable amount of maturity at all times. I specify "reasonable" as we do like to have quite a bit of fun while we game. Age is not a prerequisite here, but a certain degree of maturity is.

Battlefield prowess is a very persuasive characteristic in an applicant. However, this is not mandatory. If your attitude is exemplary, we are willing to accept recruits based on that alone. Keep in mind however, that progression in the clan is dependent entirely on battlefield skills. So while it is possible to become a member with a low degree of skill, reaping the rewards of progressing through Arcani's ranks will require motivation.

Immediately you receive the entrance package we give recruits. This includes access to our FTP server (which is loaded with tons of goodies) as well as your own email address ending in '@arcani.net'. Also, over your first few months in the clan you will be given the benefit of the best training regiment in all of Total War.

Our training regiment has been honed for over 4 years. We employ a mixture of casual and structured gaming that is designed to turn any motivated gamer into a world class Total Warrior quickly and efficiently. You will be given your own personalized "Training Profile" which is updated regularly by our official trainers. Our trainers will use a combination of on-field play and off-field documentation to give yourself insight into your own shortcomings as well as ways to better manipulate gameplay mechanics. Streaming video tutorials, text based analysis of your gameplay, as well as organized and purpose-driven training will each serve to raise your level of gameplay without sacrificing our core principle of having fun while doing so.
